AIFlix Privacy Policy

AIFlix is provided by Tunnelbiz Studio Sdn Bhd. This policy covers the AIFlix Android TV application.

Information stored on your device

Your language choice, saved list, personal video links, recently opened videos and playback progress are stored on your device. The app does not require a viewer account. These records are not uploaded to the AIFlix catalogue server. You can remove saved videos in the app, or clear AIFlix app data in Android Settings to remove all local records.

Catalogue and media connections

The app connects over HTTPS to our server to retrieve video and advertisement lists. Network requests expose your IP address and technical request information to the receiving server. Our infrastructure processes request information for delivery, security, troubleshooting and rate limiting; server logs may retain technical request records. Thumbnail and video providers also receive requests when their content is loaded.

YouTube and other video providers

AIFlix uses YouTube's embedded player for YouTube videos. Google/YouTube receives information when that player loads and is used, including network and device/browser information and playback interactions. This can include an approximate location inferred from an IP address, device or other identifiers, playback diagnostics and interactions. Their collection, cookies, security checks, measurement, personalisation and advertising are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. Direct MP4 videos and remote images connect to their respective hosting providers. Availability depends on the provider and your region.

Advertisements

AIFlix can show a video advertisement before a selected video. An advertisement is selected randomly from the active catalogue, rather than from a viewer profile maintained by AIFlix. Video providers may apply their own advertising and data practices. AIFlix does not include an advertising-ID or analytics SDK.

Permissions and security

AIFlix uses internet access for catalogue and playback. It does not request your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. Connections configured by AIFlix use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Retention and deletion requests

Local preferences and history remain until removed or app data is cleared. Technical server records are used for operating and securing the service. To ask about information held by Tunnelbiz, request access or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact hasnan@tunnelbiz.com. Include AIFlix in the subject and describe the data you want deleted; do not send passwords. We can delete identifiable records held by Tunnelbiz where they are not needed for security, legal obligations or unresolved service issues. If records must be retained, we will explain the reason and applicable retention period in our response. We cannot identify your locally stored history from an email: remove that data using Android Settings as described above. Information held by Google or another media provider is managed under that provider's policy.
